Lucky Gordon
Founder’s Story

Founder Lucky Gordon’s journey began not in a design studio, but on the tennis court. A former Division 1 athlete who trained at IMG Academy and played No. 1 at Georgetown University. Lucky carried that same discipline and drive into her first fashion venture, an athleisure brand that she launched in 2004 while completing her law degree. That early experience laid the foundation for what came next: hands-on knowledge of garment design, manufacturing, and what it takes to build something from scratch.

In 2010, she launched LRK, a contemporary women’s fashion label that was carried by major retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom, among others. But it was through this work that she spotted a gap in a different market: uniforms. Most offerings lacked style, speed, and a personal touch, especially in hospitality.

In 2014, she shifted focus, and The House Label was born. The goal wasn’t just to make better-looking uniforms; it was to simplify the entire process. Lucky saw how frustrating it was for hospitality teams to deal with MOQs, inventory storage, long lead times, and inconsistent production. There had to be a better way, one where someone else handled the backend so businesses could focus on running their operations. With that, The House Label introduced a full-service model: we design, produce, warehouse, and fulfill uniforms on demand, eliminating the need for clients to stock inventory or manage reorders themselves. It’s uniform management, reimagined.

The name says it all: House represents each client’s business — their space, their team, their story. Label speaks to our role as your behind-the-scenes manufacturer. Our label becomes your label, custom-crafted to reflect your brand. Today, The House Label is trusted by leading restaurants and hotels across the country, built on the belief that uniforms can do more than clothe a team. They can represent a brand.

Our Production Team

We’ve spent over two decades inside factories, choosing the right mills, building reliable sampling pipelines, and stress-testing production lines until they work like clockwork. That’s why our uniforms don’t miss deadlines, don’t miss details, and don’t fall apart. We’re not just experienced, we’re built for this.
